History
Star Service Co. was founded in 1975 by Mr. Peh Eng Huat. In its initial days, the company was specialising in rental of wooden tentages, table crockeries and other miscellaneous items used in more traditional affairs in Singapore. However, as the years passed, Star Service Co. gravitated towards metal tentages and event equipment.
Safety
Star Service Co. takes the subject of safety extremely seriously. We provide all our workers with required PPE and also have sent them to the required safety courses as mandated by the Ministry of Manpower.
Star Service Co. has also been awarded BizSafe 3 by the Ministry to recognise the efforts and steps taken by the Company to ensure the health and safety of its workers.

Key Personnel
CEO
Mr. Roland Wu Roon Kwee
Mr. Roland Wu, started working for Star Service Co. back in 1993. Learning the ins and outs of the business from Mr. Peh, Mr. Roland worked hard and rose through the ranks, eventually taking over the business from Mr. Peh.
A committed and steadfast leader in the company, Mr. Roland has brought the company to new heights. Under his leadership, Star Service Co. has expanded from its initial small warehouse in Ang Mo Kio, to its current location at Woodlands Industrial Park.
Foreman-in-Chief
Mr. Kumar
Hailing from Tamilnadu, India, Mr. Kumar has been working for Star Service since 2000. As such, Mr. Kumar has extensive knowledge of this industry.
Mr. Kumar is currently the foreman-in-chief of Star Service. Making use of his many years of experience and know-how within this industry, there is no challenge too great for Mr. Kumar to overcome.
Operations Manager
Mr. Wu Lian Zhi
Mr. Wu Lian Zhi is currently the Operations Manager of Star Service Co.
A relative newcomer in the tentage space, Mr. Wu Lian Zhi is eager to learn more about this industry and how he can bring new innovation and ideas to the table in an effort to modernise the industry.
